Privacy Policy

Kinetix Delta Ltd ("ModelCreators", "we", "us", "our") operates modelcreators.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, company name (optional), and a securely hashed password.
• Tool inputs and generated output: the text you enter into a tool, and the AI-generated result, which we store so you can revisit your generation history and organize it into Projects.
• Billing data: if you subscribe to Pro or Business, payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number. We do store your Stripe customer/subscription ID and plan status.
• Usage data: which tools you use and how often, for the purpose of enforcing plan limits (e.g. the 3-free-uses-per-month cap on Pro tools) and improving the Service.
• Technical data: IP address and basic request metadata, used only for abuse prevention and rate limiting, not for tracking or advertising.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the Service — running your requested tool, saving your history, and enforcing plan limits.
• To process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, or material changes to the Service.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To improve the Service — e.g. understanding which tools are used most, in aggregate/anonymized form.

Your tool inputs are not used to train third-party AI models. Inputs are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your requested Output, under Anthropic's API terms, which by default do not use API inputs/outputs for model training.

3. Who we share data with

We share limited data with the following processors, solely to operate the Service:

• Anthropic — receives your tool inputs to generate AI Output.
• Stripe — receives your billing details to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Supabase — our database host, which stores your account and generation data.
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which processes requests to serve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data and generation history for as long as your account is active, so you can access your history and re-use past Projects. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain billing records for tax/accounting purposes (typically up to 6 years, per UK requirements).

5. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@modelcreators.com — we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard salted hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored in plain text. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (session authentication) and to remember basic preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. International transfers

Some of our processors (including Anthropic and Stripe) may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as required by UK/EU data protection law.

9. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and notify active subscribers by email for material changes.
